Reynolda Launches a Redesigned Website

Interactive Knowledge has enjoyed a great relationship with the Reynolda House Museum of American Art since 2012. We initially helped them create a ‘digital wing’ by partnering on an expansive digitization project that began with funding in 2011 from the National Endowment for the Arts. This project resulted in a comprehensive website that offered online access to their collection of art, furniture, and archival materials along with full documentation of every item. This site was awarded the Best of the Web, People’s Choice award from the Museum and the Web Conference in 2014. Beginning in 2017, we helped design a bilingual mobile tour app of the Reynolda House, Garden, and Grounds titled, Reynolda Revealed. That project won the Gold Technology award from the Southeastern Museums Conference in 2018.

On September 1, 2021, we launched a completely reimagined website that combines the Reynolda House, Gardens, and Reynolda Village into a comprehensive digital experience. Reynolda.org offers a wide variety of content including an events calendar, multimedia resources, an interactive map, expanded access to the collections database, and many other features. The site is fully responsive and accessible. It’s designed to give visitors a sense of what a visit to Reynolda could include and encourages new levels of engagement.
